Here are some of our recent events! Early October 2023 saw the 'Heritage Takeover' day, with makers' market, tattoo flash day, and Photography Exhibition in the Orangery. Here are some of our Archaeology Days where both adults and children help us to clean finds from our archaeological test pits: ranging from early medieval pottery, an 11th century bone gaming token, a chest key from c. 1250-1350, yellow Kentish roof tiles, to late 19th century chinaware and ornaments, there is very much a mixed bag. Once analysed, the artefacts will tell us more about the lives of the occupants of the Mint House over the centuries. We hold several events throughout the year such as free craft days and children's trails, open days, quizzes and market stalls.
